SERIES
• Saturday's game marked the first ever meeting between Louisville and Grand Canyon.
• The Cardinals improved to 10-1 all-time against current members of the Western Athletic Conference.
TEAM
• Saturday marked the first time Louisville has started two players from Jefferson County high schools (Quentin Snider and Raymond Spalding) since Dec. 21, 2004 when Terrance Farley and Larry O'Bannon started against IUPUI.
• The 111 points for Louisville were the most since a 113-74 win over Louisiana Lafayette on Dec. 7, 2013.
• The 48-point victory was the largest margin for the Cardinals since a 61-point (87-26) win over Savannah State on Nov. 24, 2014.
• Saturday marked the third time this season Louisville has won a game by a margin of 40 or more points.

• Louisville finished at 63.6 percent (21-for-33) from the field in the first half Saturday marking the fourth time this season they have shot 60 percent or better from the field in a half. They shot 69.6 percent (16-of-23) in the second half against Saint Louis, 61.8 percent (21-of-34) in the second half against North Florida and 61.3 percent (19-for-31) against St. Francis Brooklyn.
• Saturday marked a season-high in field goal percentage (54.3 percent/38-for-70) for Louisville and was the highest since making 58.0 percent (29-of-50) at Boston College on Jan. 28, 2015.
• Louisville exceeded its season-high for points in a half with both the 61 points in the first half and the 50 points in the second half. Prior to Saturday, the Cardinals' highest scoring half of the season was the 48 points in the first half against Samford.
• The 38 made field goals on Saturday equaled a season high for Louisville matching the total against North Florida on Nov. 21.
• The Cardinals' +35 advantage on the glass on Saturday was the program's largest rebounding margin in a single game in the last 17 seasons. The previous high for rebounding advantage since the 1998-99 season was +34 (60-26) against Jacksonville State on Nov. 17, 2014.
• The 55 rebounds on Saturday were the most for Louisville since the 60 boards against Jacksonville State on Nov. 17, 2014.
• Louisville finished with a 26-5 advantage on the glass in the first half on Saturday, the largest margin in any half since outrebounding Jacksonville State 37-13 in the second half on Nov. 17, 2014.
• The 17 assists on Saturday equal the second highest total of the season for the Cardinals.
• The nine blocked shots for Louisville equaled a season-high first accomplished against Samford on Nov. 13.
• Louisville produced four runs of 8-0 or better on Saturday – a 14-0 run in the first half, a 14-0 run from late in the first half and into the second half, as well as 8-0 and 9-0 runs in the second half. Through seven games this season, the Cardinals have 18 runs of 8-0 or better, while last season, they had 52 runs of 8-0 or better.
• The Cardinals improved to 86-13 all-time at KFC Yum! Center, now in its sixth season as the home of Louisville basketball.
PLAYER
• Graduate student Damion Lee equaled a season-high for scoring and led the Cardinals in that category for the sixth time this season finishing with 24 points overall.
• Lee has reached double-figures in scoring in all seven games this season and has finished with 21 or more four times.
• Lee connected for a season-high four three-point baskets on Saturday doubling his previous single game high accomplished four times.
• Graduate student Trey Lewis reached double-figures in scoring for the fifth time this season after his 16-point effort Saturday.
• Freshman Donovan Mitchell finished one point shy of matching his season-high for scoring with Saturday's 13-point outing.
• Mitchell equaled a season-high with five made field goals while attempting a season best nine shots from the field.
• Mitchell also pulled down a season-high seven rebounds, one better than his previous best of six accomplished twice.
• Sophomore Quentin Snider dished out a career best eight assists, two more than his previous high. Snider also matched a season-high with 12 points.
• Junior David Levitch matched a career-high with nine points equaling his total against Cal State Northridge on Dec. 23, 2014.
• The four blocked shots for sophomore Anas Mahmoud were a career-high, one better than his trio of swats against Michigan State earlier this week.
