Mangok Mathiang ranked sixth in the ACC in blocked shots last season.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men's basketball's Mangok Mathiang spoke with CardsTV about moving around during his childhood and how eventually ended up playing basketball.
The Australia native, who was the top reserve and part-time starter at center last year, ranked sixth in the Atlantic Coast Conference with 1.4 blocked shots per game. Mathiang, who averaged 4.7 rebounds per game, most notably hit the game-winning jumper with 2.7 seconds remaining in the Cardinals' win over No. 2 Virginia in the regular season finale.
Toward the end of the season, Mathiang earned a spot on the 2015 All-ACC Academic Men's Basketball Team.
