Cards Collect Six Wins on Day Two of CCB Collegiate Invitational

Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff posts a pair of singles wins

The University of Louisville men's tennis team collected six wins on day two of the CCB Collegiate Invitational Saturday.

In doubles, freshmen Brian Tsao and Christian Haushammer defeated Troy's Sam Bird and Marcel du Sart 8-1.

Morin-Kougoucheff led the way in singles with a pair of wins. The freshman registered a 5-7, 6-2, 6-2 victory over Alabama's Matt Roussow and followed with a 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 decision against Middle Tennessee's Ayed Zatar. Haushammer posted a 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 decision over Julian Zlobinsky of Texas. Sophomore Santiago Salazar topped Tulane's Tyler Schick 7-6(7), 6-4. Morin-Kougoucheff bested Alabama's Matt Roussow 5-7, 6-2, 6-2. Freshman Brian Tsao picked up a 6-4, 6-3 win over UAB's Trey McCombes.
