Young records 3.0 sacks in the 17-14 win over Boston College
LOUISVILLE, KY. - University of Louisville defensive end/linebacker Trevon Young was named the Atlantic  Coast Conference Defensive Lineman  of the Week after leading the Cardinals to a 17-14 victory over Boston College on Saturday at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

Entering the game with 2.0 career sacks, Young recorded a career-high 3.0 sacks, including one on the Eagles' final offensive play. He leads the team with 5.0 sacks this season.
Young led a ferocious defensive attack that recorded a season-high eight sacks and limited the Eagles to -10 yards rushing and 79 yards of total offense. It marked the most sacks on an opponent since the Cardinals tallied eight sacks against Wake Forest on Sept. 27, 2014.
Louisville will look to extend its win streak Friday night as the Cardinals play at Wake Forest on Oct. 30. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
