
Scott Named ACC Rookie of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Freshman L.J. Scott of the University of Louisville was named the ACC Rookie of the Week for his performance in Cardinals' 66-21 win over Murray State on Saturday night.
A native of Marion, Ohio, Scott rushed for a career-high 126 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries to help Louisville rush for 325 yards to raise its record to 2-0.
Scott, who enrolled early, recorded the longest run of the season when he scampered 68 yards to set up his first career touchdown, a one-yard run to put the Cardinals ahead 21-7 in the first quarter.
The Cardinals will hit the road for the first time when they face Virginia on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 12:30 p.m. on the ACC Network.
