Softball Fall Season Starts Saturday

The University of Louisville softball team will open the 2014-15 fall season on Saturday, Sept. 20 against Bellarmine at 12 p.m. and Eastern Kentucky at 2:30 p.m. The Cards will face Wallace State in a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21. Admission is free.
Louisville posted a 36-22 overall record, claimed the 2014 American Athletic Conference Championship and capped the season with the program's 11th straight NCAA appearance. The Cardinals return six starters and 13 letterwinners from the 2014 team including NFCA All-Central Regional selection Maryssa Becker and all-American Athletic Conference team members Whitney Arion and Kayla Soles. Eight newcomers will also take the field for the Cards this season.
