The University of Louisville athletics department has announced the details of the 2014 softball promotions schedule which will include several family-friendly events and giveaways and promotions throughout the season.
2014 TRADING CARDS
Fans will be able to collect limited edition 2014 Louisville Softball Trading Cards! The Cards will feature each member of the team and coaching staff and will be given out in packs of five on the following dates:
March 8
March 15
April 12
April 26
Be sure to collect all four packs
CARDINAL GIVEAWAYS
Be sure to be one of the first 250 fans out to these certain games to receive your free Louisville gear!
March 9 - ear warmers
March 16 - adidas t-shirts
March 22 - sunglasses
MINI HELMET GIVEAWAY - March 15
In honor of the newly expanded Ulmer stadium, we will be giving away commemorative mini helmets to the first 250 fans in attendance
YOUTH SOFTBALL DAY - April 12
Join us April 12th and show the Cardinals your team spirit! Kids are encouraged to wear their team jerseys and the Cards will be available for autographs after the game.
PINK GAME - April 13
The Cards will once again host their annual pink game! For this special event, the team will wear pink uniforms and will play in honor of everyone affected by cancer
MILITARY DAY - April 26
In honor of those who serve and have served our country, Louisville softball will salute the men and women of the military during our Patriotic Game. Red, white and blue bird head t-shirts will be given out to the first 250 fans in attendance.
RED OUT - April 30 (Ticketed event - free berm seating)
Wear your red and help us pack the park for the annual `Battle of the Bluegrass!' The Cards will play host to the Wildcats and we need your help as we try to set a new attendance record at Ulmer Stadium.
SPECIAL OLYMPICS DAY - April 27
Special Olympics will come out for a pregame pizza party with student-athletes and have a postgame clinic with the softball team.
