Team Notes
- Today's win over Cincinnati was the 654st in head coach Rick Pitino's career and the 300th at U of L in just his 12th season, where he has averaged 25 per season. Pitino has won at least 20 games in a season on 21 different occasions, which ranks sixth among active coaches in 20-win seasons and 15th overall. Pitino owns a 300-111 mark during his tenure at Louisville.
- Louisville head coach Rick Pitino owns a 33-9 record in games against his former assistants, including a 6-4 mark against Cincinnati's Mick Cronin, who spent two seasons (2001-03) on Pitino's staff at Louisville. Currently, 25 of Pitino's former assistants or players have risen to a collegiate head coaching position.
- The Cardinals improved to 14-1 at the KFC Yum! Center this season with the 67-51 win over the Bearcats on Monday evening. Louisville has won five in a row at home since losing to Syracuse on Jan. 19. Overall, the Cardinals have won nine of their last 10 contests on the year and sixth in a row. Louisville has won its last four home games by double-digits and an average of 16.8 points per game.
- The Cardinals upped their record to 22-0 this season when holding a lead at the break. Louisville held a 35-31 advantage at the break tonight and went on for a 16-point win over the Bearcats.
- Since joining the BIG EAST Conference in 2005-06, the Cardinals raised their league mark to 94-45 overall. The Cardinals have won 13 or more league contests for just the third time since joining the league. Louisville won 16 in 2008-09 and captured 14 league victories in 2007-08. Louisville owns the most BIG EAST wins over the last seven seasons.
- Louisville held Cincinnati to 51 points, running its record to 18-1 this season when holding the opposition to less than 60 points in a game. It marked the fewest points allowed at home since yielding 51 in a win over Marquette on Feb. 3, 2013.
- The Cardinals, who entered the game ranked third nationally in steals at 10.7 per game, posted 12 thefts in the win over the Bearcats. U of L has collected double-digit steals in 22 of its 30 games.
- Entering the game with Cincinnati, the Cardinals ranked third nationally in turnover margin at +6.0 per game. Louisville forced the Bearcats into 21 miscues, while just turning the ball over nine times in the win. Louisville has averaged just 8.7 turnovers per game in the last three home contests. The Cardinals turned the ball over eight times in the win over St. John's on Feb. 14.
- Louisville held Cincinnati to 35.3 percent shooting in the 67-51 win over the Bearcats. It marked the 19th time this season and the fifth time in six games that the Cardinals have held the opposition to less than 40 percent shooting in a game.
- The Cardinals forced the Bearcats into more turnovers (21) than field goals made (18). It was the 11th time this season that Louisville has forced the opposition into more turnovers than field goals made in a game.
- The Cardinals held the Bearcats to zero 3-point field goals in the second half, marking the third time this season that U of L held an opponent without a 3-point field goal in the final period.
- Tonight's crowd of 22,739 was the eighth-largest in the three-year history of the KFC Yum! Center.

Player Notes
- After being held scoreless for the second time this season against Syracuse, senior guard Peyton Siva responded with 11 first-half points on 5-of-11 shooting from the floor.
- Siva registered four assists in the win over Cincinnati to give him 177 this season, which places him sixth on the school's single-season assist list. He most needs five to tie his own mark of 182, which is the fifth most in a season at U of L. Siva remains second all-time with 626 career helpers.
- Siva remained in third place in school history in career steals by recording two in the win over Cincinnati. He owns 225 thefts and needs just two to tie Labradford Smith (1987-91) for the second most in school history with 227.
- Sophomore Chane Behanan tied his career high with four steals tonight in the win over Cincinnati. It was the third time this season that he has registered four thefts in a game, also pulling the feat versus Providence on Jan. 2, 2013 and versus Syracuse on Jan. 19, 2013.
- Junior center Gorgui Dieng blocked one shot in the win over Cincinnati, marking the 83rd time in 92 career games that he has swatted at least one shot. Dieng recorded nine rebounds for the 14th time in 23 games this season. He has 722 career rebounds in three seasons with the Cardinals.
- Junior guard Russ Smith tallied 18 points on 6-of-14 from the field in the win over Cincinnati. His 18 points marked the 28th time this season that he has reached double figures. It also marked the 11th straight-time that he has reached double-digits in a game. He has 551 points this season and needs just seven points to tie Darrell Griffith (1977-78) for the 20th-most points in a single-season at U of L.
- With six made free throws this afternoon, Smith moved into fourth place on the school's single-season free throw list with 165. He needs just 13 made throws to break the school record of 177 free throws made by Wes Unseld in 1967-68.
- Junior Luke Hancock posted eight points in the second half on 3-of-4 shooting from the floor and 2-of-3 from behind the arc.
