
Women's Basketball Hosts DePaul in Play 4 Kay Game

Louisville, Ky. - The No. 10 Louisville women's basketball team will host DePaul on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 1:30 p.m. in the KFC Yum! Center. The game is the annual Pink game and will be televised live on ESPNU as part of its Play 4 Kay week.
The Cardinals enter the game with an overall record of 20-5 and an 8-3 record in league play. Louisville will be looking to bounce back after falling for the first time in seven games to Notre Dame 93-64 on Monday. Bria Smith finished the game with a season-high 18 points, leading three Cardinals in double figures. Overall, Shoni Schimmel leads the team in scoring with 14.1 points while dishing out 3.5 assists. Sara Hammond ranks second on the team in scoring with 10.5 points per game while leading the team in rebounding with 6.2 per game.
DePaul enters the game with an overall record of 18-7 and a league record of 7-4. The Blue Demons are coming off a 60-57 victory over Rutgers on Tuesday. Three players are averaging double figures for the Blue Demons. Senior Anna Martin, who is coming off an injury, leads the team with 16.2 points per game. Sophomore Brittany Hrynko ranks second on the team in scoring with 15.6 points per game. Junior Jasmine Penny rounds out the top scorers averaging 14.1 points per game. Senior Katherine Harry leads the team on the glass with 10.7 rebounds per game.
