LOUISVILLE TEAM NOTES
- Tuesday's matchup was the second of four games for Louisville in the Basketball Hall of Fame Tipoff. The Cardinals will next travel to Uncasville, Conn., for the final two games of the event on Saturday at 2 p.m., ET against Fairfield and on Sunday at either 1 or 3 p.m., against either North Carolina or Richmond.

- Louisville finished with a season-high 16 steals on Tuesday, their highest total since finishing with 20 steals in the NCAA win over North Carolina A&T.
- With seven turnovers on Tuesday, Louisville has committed 10 or fewer turnovers in seven straight games dating back to last season, the longest such streak in Rick Pitino's 13 seasons with the Cardinals.

- The Cardinals were 31-for-62 from the field on Tuesday marking the third straight game they have shot at least 50 percent from the field. Louisville had four straight games of 50-percent or better during the first four games of last year's NCAA Championship.
- The Cardinals have made at least 31 field goals in each of the last three games, the longest such streak since late January 2005 when they had a three-game stretch of 33 vs. Tennessee (Jan. 22, 2005), 35 vs. Marquette (Jan. 26, 2005) and 33 vs. Tulane (Jan. 29, 2005).

- Tuesday's game was just the second all-time between Louisville and Hartford. The Cardinals are 2-0 overall against the Hawks with the previous win (104-69) coming on Nov. 17, 2007 in Freedom Hall.
- Friday's matchup was the 61st game played at the KFC Yum! Center for the Cardinals, who improved to 54-7 overall in the fourth season of the downtown facility.
