
Pitino to Participate in UofL Kentucky Author Forum

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville men's basketball Coach Rick Pitino will participate in the UofL Kentucky Author Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 9, beginning at 4:15 p.m. with a book in the Lobby of The Kentucky Center lobby in downtown Louisville.
Pitino's newest book, The One-Day Contract, was released Oct. 1. Following the book signing at the Forum, Pitino will be interviewed by Joe Nocera, Op-Ed and Business columnist for The New York Times.
Tickets are currently on sale at The Kentucky Center box office, by phone calling 502-584-7777 or 800-775-7777, or by visiting www.kentuckycenter.org. A $20 ticket includes access to the Pitino book signing from 4:15-5:15 p.m., a Brown-Forman wine and cheese reception from 5-6 p.m., the interview, and the question and answer session with the audience. A $110 Package includes all events plus dinner, of which $50 is tax deductible with proceeds to the non-profit Kentucky Author Forum.
A 2013 inductee to the Naismith Memorial Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Pitino is the only coach to take three different schools to the NCAA Final Four. He guided the UofL Cardinals to the national championship in 2013. He is the author of acclaimed business and leadership books, including The One-Day Contract (St. Martin's Press).
