LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Two University of Louisville men's basketball players will not play in tonight's game against Pittsburgh in the KFC Yum! Center.
Wayne Blackshear suffered a sprained right shoulder in practice on Sunday. The injury is expected to sideline him for a short period. Kevin Ware has been suspended indefinitely for an unspecified reason.
A starter in 19 of the Cardinals' 20 games, Blackshear is averaging 9.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and his 30 three-point goals are second-most on the team. Ware is averaging 3.8 points and nearly 16 minutes a game.
