LOUISVILLE TEAM NOTES
- With Saturday's win, Louisville improved to 26-4 all-time against USF.
- Louisville's 15-1 start is the program's best since opening the 2003-04 season with a 16-1 mark.
- The Cardinals improved to 44-6 all-time in their three seasons at the KFC Yum! Center.
- With scoring runs of 11-0 and 8-0 in the first half and 10-0 in the second half on Saturday, the Cardinals have 27 runs of 8-0 or better this season.
- After entering the week ranked third nationally in steals at 11.5 per game, the Cardinals had 12 on Saturday.
- USF finished at just 26.7-percent (12-for-45) shooting from the field on Saturday marking the 10th time this season Louisville has held an opponent to below 40-percent from the field.
- The 12 field goals were the fewest by a Louisville opponent this season, two less than the 14 for Miami (Ohio) and UMKC.
- The 38 points for USF matched the lowest scoring total allowed by Louisville this season and were the lowest point total this season for the Bulls.
- Louisville improved to 226-40 during the past 12 years, including 13-0 this season, when holding its opponent below 70 points.
- The 15 first half points for the Bulls were the second lowest total allowed by the Cardinals in a half this season. Saturday marked the third time this season Louisville has held an opponent to 16 points or less in a half and the seventh time this season the Cardinals have held an opponent to 20 points or less in a half.

- The Cardinals outrebounded USF 49-24 on Saturday matching the highest rebounding advantage of the season for Louisville (53-28 vs. Samford on Nov. 15, 2012).
- Louisville had 19 offensive rebounds to just 18 defensive rebounds for USF and the Cardinals finished with a 20-2 advantage in second chance points.
- The six assists for the Cardinals matched their season-low, while the four assists for the Bulls matched a season-low for a Louisville opponent.
- Louisville had nine different players see at least 10 minutes of game action on Saturday with no player playing more than 32 minutes.
LOUISVILLE PLAYER NOTES
- With his 13 points in the first half, senior guard Peyton Siva became the 64th Louisville player to reach 1,000 career points. With its 64 1,000-point scorers all-time, Louisville ranks second in the nation behind only North Carolina in that category.
- Overall, Siva finished Saturday's game with 17 points on 7-for-11 shooting from the field, including 3-for-5 on three-pointers, to go with three assists and one steal.
- With his three steals, Siva increased his career total to 201, just three behind DeJuan Wheat (1993-97) for No. 6 on the Cardinals' career steals list.
- With his 10th double-figure scoring game of the season, Siva led the Cardinals in scoring for just the second time this season.
- Junior center Gorgui Dieng scored 12 points and matched a career-high with 16 rebounds on Saturday for his third straight double-double and the 15th of his career. The 16 rebounds were the most since his 16-rebound performance against Ohio on Nov. 25, 2011.
- In the Cardinals' three BIG EAST Conference games this season, Dieng is averaging 13 points on 58.3-percent shooting from the field (14-for-24) and 13.6 rebounds per outing.
- Sophomore forward Chane Behanan added 12 rebounds on Saturday, all in the first half, for his second highest rebounding total of the season and the most since he had 18 against Samford on Nov. 15, 2012.
