LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville softball team returns to action at home this weekend for the Red and Black Tournament. In an effort to provide support for those in the surrounding areas affected by last week's devastating tornadoes, the Cardinals will hold a Tornado Relief Raffle on Saturday, March 10, at Ulmer Stadium during the Louisville vs. Michigan game at 1 p.m.
On March 2, many of the surrounding areas including Southern Indiana, and parts of Eastern Kentucky were struck by an outbreak of tornadoes causing major damage and leaving many families homeless. The Cards have teamed up with the Kentucky State Police and DARE TO CARE in an effort to provide relief to the families affected.
Fans in attendance are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items and various supplies to Saturday's games. Upon donation, fans will be entered into a raffle for an opportunity to win fun prizes.
