LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - The Annual Score Against Hunger Thanksgiving Food Drive will be held on Friday night at the Louisville-Cincinnati football game at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium at 8 p.m.
Dare to Care volunteers will be located in the Street Fest area and at all gates to collect monetary donations or non-perishable food items that will be donated to local Dare to Care food banks. Fans are encouraged to bring items and drop them off in the Dare to Care barrels located at the gates of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
Last year, Dare to Care distributed food for 13 million meals to those in need in our 13 county Kentuckiana service area. But many families still go to bed hungry every night. Your help will lessen the burden for these neighbors. For every $1 you donate, Dare to Care provides food for 4 meals to local children, families and seniors in need. 94¢ of every dollar donated goes directly to fulfilling our mission of ending hunger in our community.
