
Hannah Gadd Named BIG EAST Diver of the Week

Louisville senior Hannah Gadd earned women's BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week honors in the first weekly awards of the 2012-13 season.
Gadd won a pair of diving events at the SMU Classic. She took first place on the 1-meter board with 301.65 points and placed first on the 3-meter board with 286.20 points. Gadd defeated a field that included divers from USC, Texas, Florida, SMU and North Carolina. The senior beat the 1-meter field by 40 points and the 3-meter field by 20.
Notes From Around the League:
Louisville junior Joao De Lucca ranks among the nation's best in the 100 and 200-yard freestyles. He is third among all NCAA leaders in the 100 freestyle with a time of 44:04 and eighth in the 200 with a mark of 1:38.76.
Louisville freshman Bryan Draganosky ranks among the best in the country in the 1,000-yard freestyle. He ranks seventh in the NCAA with a time of 9:21.14.
Louisville freshman Kelsi Worrell has the seventh-best time in the country in the 100 meter butterfly with a 54.21-second mark.
The Louisville women's 200 freestyle relay team has the ninth best time in the NCAA with a mark of 1:34.57 and its women's 800 freestyle relay squad ranks 10th with a time of 7:33.68.
