LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's basketball team is ranked second in the nation by The Sporting News in the publication's Top 25 preseason college basketball rankings and senior guard Peyton Siva was selected to The Sporting News' All-America third team.
UofL will face at least five teams this season listed among the Top 25, including 4 Kentucky, 7 Syracuse, 15 Memphis, 18 Cincinnati and 24 Notre Dame. In addition to the Cardinals, four ranked teams -- 5 Duke, 10 Missouri, 15 Memphis, and 25 VCU -- are part of the Battle 4 Atlantis field for the Nov. 22-24 event in Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas.
