
Perry Named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - University of Louisville running back Senorise Perry was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Perry rushed for 101 yards, his second consecutive 100-yard game, and four touchdowns on just 12 carries to help Louisville remain unbeaten at 6-0 with a 45-35 win at Pittsburgh in the Cardinals' BIG EAST opener.
A native of Summerville, Ga., Perry scored three touchdowns in the second half, including a 59-yard run in the fourth quarter that gave Louisville a 17-point lead with 2:25 remaining. Perry is the leading scorer in the BIG EAST this season with an average of 9.0 points per game.
Through six games, Perry has rushed for a team-high 559 yards and is averaging a team-best 5.8 yards a carry.
