
Stein Named Semifinalist for Homecoming King

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Senior quarterback Will Stein of the Louisville football is among 10 semifinalists in contention for the honor of being selected as 2012 University of Louisville Homecoming King.
Stein is the Cardinals' back-up quarterback and one of the key leaders for the football program. A three-year letterwinner for Louisville, Stein has five career starts and has thrown for 1,157 yards and six career touchdowns. The 5-10 signal caller started three games in 2011, throwing for 620 yards and five touchdowns.
He is currently a member of the MBA program at U of L.
Registered UofL students can place their votes for the 2012 Homecoming King. Voting closes on Friday, Oct. 12, with the winner being announced during halftime of the Cardinals' football game against USF on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
