
16 Football Players Earn Academic All-BIG EAST Accolades

Louisville, Ky. - 16 members of the University of Louisville football team earned 2010 BIG EAST All-Academic Team honors. The league recognized 135 football student-athletes who have completed at least two semesters with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Since the Cardinals joined the league in 2005, 40 Louisville football student-athletes have been honored on the conference's academic team 83 times. Seniors Pete Nochta and Justin Burke were three-time academic honorees in the BIG EAST Conference.
