Three Cardinals Invited to NFL Combine

Louisville, Ky.- - Three players from the University of Louisville have been invited to the NFL combine in Indianapolis, Ind., from Feb. 23 to March 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The official combine list was released and it includes tailback Bilal Powell, cornerback Johnny Patrick and tight end Cameron Graham. Powell led the Cardinals with 1,405 yards rushing and was a first team All-BIG EAST honoree, while Patrick led the Cardinals with five interceptions. Graham was second on the team with 40 receptions for 470 yards and was tied for the team lead with five touchdown receptions.
The week of physical and mental evaluations, along with measurements, forms a basis for the 32 teams to make decisions for the upcoming 2011 NFL draft.
Various positions will be looked at on different days. Tight ends are slated to workout on Feb. 24, while running backs are scheduled to compete on Feb. 25 and cornerbacks on Feb. 27.
