Football To Host Walk-on Tryouts

Louisville, Ky.- - The University of Louisville football program will host walk-on tryouts on January 25 in the Trager Indoor Practice Facility at 5:00 p.m.
Anyone interested in trying out for the 2011 team needs to be a full-time U of L student in order to participate in the open tryout. Interested students need to stop by the Howard Schellenberger Football Complex to fill out a walk-on questionnaire, and bring a highlight tape from your previous school or high school by January 18.
Before anyone can be cleared to participate in the tryout, students must have an updated proof of insurance card, completed physical form and results of a sickle cell blood test.
Any questions should be directed to Sherrone Moore in the U of L Football Office at 502-852-4949. Students to attend a meeting on January 18 at 3:00 p.m. and another one on January 24 at 3:00 p.m. in the football complex in order to be eligible to try out.
Players must be dressed in athletic gear and have their own cleats to use during the workout.
