
Beaumont and Graham Named to Watch Lists

Louisville, Ky.- - University of Louisville football seniors Doug Beaumont and Cameron Graham have been named to the Paul Hornung Award and John Mackey Award Watch Lists, respectively.
Beaumont was named to the inaugural Paul Hornung Award Watch List that will be given annually to the most versatile player in major college football. Beaumont, a 5-foot-9 wide out, recorded 38 receptions for 465 yards in 12 games in 2009. He enters the 2010 season with a streak of 24 straight games with a reception. He has played in 36 career games with 100 receptions for 1,218 yards.
The Watch List, comprised of 48 players, was compiled by a panel of college football experts based on 2009 statistics and expectations heading into the 2010 season.
Graham started 10 games at tight end in 2009, catching 27 passes for 323 yards and two touchdowns. The Mackey Award is given annually to the best collegiate tight end, the award recipient is selected by vote of the John Mackey Award Selection Committee and the 2010 John Mackey winner will be announced on December 9, 2010.
The Cardinals open the season on September 4 when Louisville hosts Kentucky at 3:30 p.m. in front of an ABC national audience.
