- With the win, Louisville improves to 3-0 all-time against Morgan State and 7-0 against current members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC).
- The Cardinals have now scored 90+ points in all three games against the Bears and are averaging 96.3 points per game in the series.
- Morgan State finished with 26 turnovers and 13 assists on Monday night, making the Bears the 12th straight Cardinal opponent to have more turnovers than assists. Louisville is one of four teams in the nation to force its opponents into more turnovers than assists in every game this season (Kansas State, Washington, and Cincinnati are the others).

- Morgan State was the 11th Louisville opponent out of 12 this season to turn the ball over at least 16 times.
- U of L's 58 first-half points were its most since scoring 60 before the break against Southern Miss on Jan. 11, 2005 (107-62 win). The 58 points were Louisville's most in any half since dropping 59 on Kentucky in the second half of an 89-75 win on Jan. 5, 2008.
- The Cardinals knocked down 11+ threes (ended with 17) for the third straight game, just the second time that has happened in school history; the other occasion came during the 2005-06 campaign (12 against Villanova on Jan. 30, 13 versus Notre Dame on Feb. 4, and 11 against Cincinnati on Feb. 6). No Louisville squad has ever put together four straight games with 11 or more three-pointers made.
- The 17 threes were the most for a Louisville squad since hitting 18 against DePaul on Feb. 15, 2009.
- The Cardinals shot 73.9 percent (17-for-23) from downtown, the third-highest percentage in school history in games with at least 10 attempts and the highest percentage ever in games with 15 or more tries. All of this came against a team holding its opponents to 27.4 percent shooting from behind the arc this season (21st in the nation).

- The Cardinals have now drained 44 threes over the past three games, shattering the school record for threes made in a three-game span. The previous record was 36, achieved over the aforementioned three games during the 2005-06 season.
- Louisville put together back-to-back 100-point outings for the eighth time in school history and first since Dec. 6-9, 1996 (119 against Morehead State and 101 versus Texas). The Cardinals' 218 points over the past two games rank as the fifth-highest two-game total in school history.

- The Cardinals shot better than 50.0 percent (58.7 for the game) from the field for the third straight game, the first time they have done that since making more than half of their shots in each of the final four games of the 2007-08 season. Louisville is 86-6 under Rick Pitino when shooting 50.0 percent or better from the floor.

- Senior Preston Knowles knocked down six threes--tying a career high--against Morgan State, the 15th consecutive game in which he has made at least one three-pointer. The streak is the second longest in the BIG EAST (trailing only Ben Hansbrough's 16-game stretch) and the longest by a Cardinal since Terrence Williams hit a three in 19 straight games from Nov. 23, 2007-Feb. 2, 2008.

- Hansbrough, Knowles, Gibbs, and Walker are the four BIG EAST players who have connected on a three in every game this season.
- Knowles is the first Louisville player to make a three in each of the first 12 games of a season since Larry O'Bannon hit at least one trey in the first 21 games of the 2004-05 campaign.
- Knowles has hit multiple threes in six straight contests and 10 of the past 11. The six-game stretch is also the second-longest in the conference, trailing only Kemba Walker's eight-game streak.
- Knowles finished the contest with a career-high 31 points, giving him 103 (20.6 per game) over the last five contests. During that span, he has hit 52.2 percent (35-of-67) of his shots from the floor and 46.3 percent (19-for-41) of his tries from distance.
- Over the last three games, Knowles has hit 15 threes, the highest three-game total for a Louisville player since Taquan Dean hit 17 from Dec. 4-10, 2005 (six against Arkansas State, seven versus Richmond, and four against Akron).
- Junior Kyle Kuric made his first five three-point tries of the game, giving him seven made threes in a span of eight attempts dating back to last game.
- The junior finished with a career-best seven threes in the game, the most by any U of L player since Taquan Dean set the school record by going 9-for-12 against VMI on Dec. 23, 2003. His 25 points were a career best.
- Knowles and Kuric became the first Louisville teammates to each hit 6+ threes in the same game since Reece Gaines (seven) and Bryant Northern (seven) accomplished the feat on Feb. 1, 2002, against South Florida. They were also the first U of L teammates with 25+ points in one game since March 3, 2005, when Larry O'Bannon had 33 and Taquan Dean 27 in a 94-82 win over #18 Charlotte.
- Sophomore Peyton Siva notched a career-best five steals against the Bears, the highest total for a Cardinal since Terrence Williams had seven against Syracuse on March 14, 2009. All of Siva's steals came in the first half.
- Siva has registered at least one steal in every game this season.
- Siva also dished out seven assists in the contest, his fifth five-assist game in Louisville's last six contests. It was also the third straight seven-assist game for the sophomore, making him the first Louisville player to put together such a streak since Terrence Williams had 7+ assists in four straight from Feb. 23-March 7, 2009.
