- The loss snapped U of L's home winning streak at nine games, dating back to a 70-60 loss to #11 Georgetown on Feb. 23 of last season, and its home non-conference win streak at 12 (last loss came on Dec. 12 of last season, 91-83 to Western Carolina).
- Louisville finished with four threes in the game, snapping the Cards' streak of consecutive games making five or more threes at 28. The streak had been the sixth-longest in the nation.

2. 38 - Northern Colorado

* - Canisius had a 28-game streak snapped Friday night against St. Francis (N.Y.) after going 4-for-16 from three. St. Mary's (44) and Ole Miss (40) had 40+-game streaks snapped earlier this season.
- The Cards made it 9-for-9 this season in forcing 16 or more opponent turnovers, harassing the Dragons into 22 on Tuesday night. Only three other schools in the nation--Belmont, Missouri, and UNC Asheville--have forced 16+ turnovers in every game this season as of Tuesday night. Louisville's streak currently sits in a tie for the longest in the country:

- The Cardinals, meanwhile, put together a streak of over 10 minutes (10:12) without a turnover from the 6:39 mark of the first half to the 16:27 mark of the second. Louisville turned the ball over just four times in the second half but shot just 29.0 percent (9-for-31) from the floor in the period.
- Louisville's point total was its lowest since Feb. 2, 1997, when the Cardinals fell 67-44 to Temple. The 46 points were U of L's fewest at home since Feb. 11, 1984 (50-45 loss to Virginia).
- The 98 total points were the fewest in a Louisville game since Dec. 1, 2007, when the Cards defeated Miami (Ohio) 47-44 at Freedom Hall.
- Louisville finished with nine rebounds in the first half, the lowest single-half total for a Cardinal team since the 2005 Final Four, when U of L had seven in the second half in a 72-57 loss to #1 Illinois. It marked the lowest first-half total for Louisville since Feb. 28, 2004 (eight against #19 Memphis).
PLAYER
- Senior Preston Knowles finished with two threes against Drexel, giving him threes in 12 consecutive games.
- Knowles' turnover at the 9:18 mark of the first half was the guard's first in his last 65 minutes of game action, while his miss on his first attempt from the stripe snapped his streak of eight consecutive free throws made. His second first-half miss gave him two misses from the stripe in a single game for the first time since March 4, 2009 (0-for-2 against Seton Hall), a span of 51 games.
- Knowles has still made 37 of his last 42 free throws (.881) dating back to last year's Western Carolina game (Dec. 12) and has missed consecutive free throws on just one occasion (his final throw against Morgan State on Nov. 22, 2009, and his first against Western Carolina on Dec. 12) over the last two seasons.
- Freshman Elisha Justice has an impressive turnover-free streak of his own, last turning the ball over against FIU on Dec. 1 (a span of 56 minutes played for Justice). He went 10 minutes without a miscue on Tuesday night.
- Sophomore Peyton Siva needed just under 17 minutes to set a new career best in free throws made, hitting his sixth of the game with 3:08 remaining in the first half to put U of L up 22-17. He finished 6-for-10 from the charity stripe, also setting a new career mark for free throw attempts.
- Siva tied a career high with four steals in the game, a mark he has now achieved four times. Over his last six games, Siva has five multi-steal efforts and is averaging 2.7 steals per outing.
- Knowles had four steals as well, also tying a career high. Siva and Knowles became the first Louisville teammates to each notch four steals in a game since a trio of Cards accomplished the feat on Jan. 13, 2007, against Providence. Terrence Williams and Edgar Sosa each had five in that game, while Jerry Smith tallied four.
- Junior Terrence Jennings' three-block game was his 35th career multi-block effort as well as his 17th with at least three blocks.
- Junior Chris Smith continued his hot shooting on Tuesday, going 3-for-5 from the floor and nailing his only three-point try. Smith has now shot 50.0 percent or better from the floor in each of the last seven games, shooting 59.1 percent (26-for-44) from the floor from that stretch. He has gone 7-for-12 (.583) from three over the last three contests.
- Smith and Siva have two of the top three shooting percentages among guards in the BIG EAST. DePaul freshman Brandon Young leads the conference with a .552 mark (53-for-96), followed by Smith (.551; 27-for-49) and Siva (.534; 31-for-58).
- Drexel sophomore guard Chris Fouch entered the game averaging 22.4 points per game on the season--including 25.3 over his last four games--but was held to just 10 points. Fouch is the top scoring sixth man in the nation, having never started a game in his 37-game career.
