TEAM
- Louisville's three opponents have combined to register just 12 assists--to 27 turnovers--in the first halves of games this season. Chattanooga had six assists and 13 turnovers after efforts of two assists and six turnovers from Butler and four assists and eight turnovers from Jackson State.
- The Cardinals, on the other hand, have 31 assists and 19 turnovers in first halves of games (including 12 assists and six turnovers on Monday night).
- The Cardinals began the game 11-for-11 from the free throw line, giving the team a streak of 13 consecutive free throws made counting the end of the Jackson State game. The streak ended with a Preston Knowles miss with 3:14 left in the first half.
- Louisville finished the game 17-of-19 from the line, the Cards' best single-game percentage since March 27, 2009 (13-of-14 against Arizona in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament). The Cardinals last had a better percentage with as many or more attempts on Feb. 5, 2005, at UAB (19-of-21, .905).
- U of L put together a 14-0 second half run, covering 5:11, to stretch a 16-point lead (58-42) into a 30-point cushion (72-42).
- Louisville's 19 steals were the most by a Cardinal club since Jan. 29, 2005, at Tulane (20 thefts), while its 15 threes were the most since hitting 18 against DePaul on Feb. 15, 2009.
- The Cardinals have now made at least five threes in 23 consecutive games, the seventh-longest active streak in the nation. Chattanooga made seven against the Cards on Monday and is one of the schools having a lengthier streak (30 straight) than Louisville's. The only other teams with longer current streaks (after Monday's games) are VMI (74), St. Mary's (42), Northern Colorado (33), Weber State (26), and Eastern Kentucky (24), while Canisius is tied with Louisville at 23.
- The Cards improved to 102-0 all-time when scoring 100 points or more.
- The 106-point output was Louisville's largest since a 107-62 win over Southern Miss on Jan. 11, 2005. Louisville has eclipsed 106 points 40 times in school history.
- Louisville scored 50 points in both halves of a game for the sixth time in the last 15 seasons and the first time since the 2004-05 campaign:
11.22.10 - Chattanooga - 51-55-106 (W, 106-65)
1.29.05 - Tulane - 50-55-105 (W, 105-69)
12.27.04 - Morehead State - 51-53-104 (W, 104-40)
12.22.02 - Furman - 51-53-104 (W, 104-63)
3.6.02 - TCU - 56-54-110 (W, 110-86)
12.20.99 - Tennessee State - 52-63-115 (W, 115-76)
- The Cardinals' 29 assists were the most for Louisville in a game since Dec. 10, 2005 (31 in a 111-85 win over Akron).
PLAYER
- Louisville had four players with at least five assists (Mike Marra five, Peyton Siva five, Chris Smith five, and Elisha Justice six) in one game for the first time since Feb. 6, 1986. In that game, a 103-68 win over Virginia Tech, Pervis Ellison (six), Mark McSwain (six), Jeff Hall (five), and Billy Thompson (five) all assisted on at least five scores.
- Marra set a new career high in steals with three, breaking his previous career best of two (set against Charlotte on Dec. 5 of last season and versus Butler in the opener).
- Through three games this season, Marra has 14 assists and just three turnovers after tying a career high with five assists Monday night.
- Junior forward Terrence Jennings tied a career high with five free throws made in the contest.
- Jennings' three-block game was the 14th of his career and his third in three games this season (including a four-stuff effort versus Butler). He has at least one block in nine of Louisville's last 10 contests, averaging 2.2 blocks per game over that stretch. The multi-block game was the 31st of Jennings' career.
- Jennings is first Louisville player to block three or more shots in three straight games since Kendall Dartez had 16 in a three-game span from Dec. 7-13, 2003 (nine against Holy Cross, three versus Seton Hall, and four against Florida). No Cardinal player has put together four such games in a row since Samaki Walker did so from Jan. 7-19, 1995 (seven versus Notre Dame, three at Virginia Tech, four against Southern Miss, and seven at Charlotte).
Consecutive games with 3+ blocks, since 1989-90

3. 3 - Cornelius Holden - 2.6.91-2.13.91 (3-3-6)
- Freshman Tim Henderson scored his first career points in the game, knocking down a three and adding a free throw to finish with four points.
- Sophomore Stephan Van Treese finished with a career-best six rebounds, including five offensive.
- Junior Kyle Kuric set a new career high with four steals in the game. The last Cardinal player with more in a game was Terrence Williams (five) on Jan. 25, 2009, at Syracuse.
