
Woodley Signs With the University of Louisville

Louisville, Ky. - Quarterback Luke Woodley from Highland Park High School has signed an agreement to attend the University of Louisville, head coach Charlie Strong announced on Tuesday.
A native of Dallas, Texas, Woodley was one of the most prolific passers in the state of Texas. He had a remarkable senior season, throwing for 4,162 yards and 40 touchdowns in leading Highland Park to an 11-2 record and a trip to the Regionals. Woodley earned All-State honors and was a first-team All-District selection. He completed a remarkable 70.5 percent of his passes during his final campaign.
In a win over Greenville on Oct. 2, Woodley threw six touchdown passes in a 59-12 win, and later that season passed for 544 yards on 43-of-61 passing in a 51-44 win over Pearce.
He was named the Max Preps National Player of the Week after completing 24-of-32 passes for 479 yards and four touchdowns in a 56-38 win over McKinney.
As a junior, Woodley passed for 3,756 yards and 41 touchdown en route to earning All-State Honorable Mention honors. He was also a first-team All-District selection after completing 64.8 percent of his throws.
Woodley is currently enrolled in school and will participate in spring drills in March.
