Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville football team officially closed training camp for the 2009 season with a 75-play scrimmage on Saturday afternoon at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
With rain falling for the start of the scrimmage, the first drive for the Cardinal offense was a quick three-and-out.
Red-shirt freshman quarterback Will Stein led the second unit on the second drive of the scrimmage with a 65-yard drive that was capped off by a 1-yd run by senior back Marcus Roberts, who led the Cardinals in rushing during the scrimmage.
However, with the first unit back out there for the third drive, junior quarterback hit wide receiver Troy Pascley in stride for a 65-yard touchdown pass on the first play. Burke made a great throw and Pascley got behind the cornerback. Burke threw for 185 yards on the afternoon and spread the football around to a multitude of receivers.
Stein also the Cardinals on a another scoring drive that ended with a 16-yard pass to Roberts.

Junior linebacker Brandon Heath was all over the field and had the biggest hit of the scrimmage. Defensive end Greg Scruggs had the game's only interception.

Burke took all the reps with the first group and Stein and red-shirt freshman Zack Stoudt split time with the second group. 14 different receiver caught passes for the Cardinals on Saturday, with no one catching more than two passes. Red-shirt Darius Ashley made a couple of nice runs and catches out of the backfield.
The Cardinals will take off Sunday and Monday before returning to practice to start preparations for the 2009 season opener on September 5 versus Indiana State.
"Overall, we've had a good camp," Kragthorpe said. "I'm pleased with the effort. Now we've
