
Pitino Previews Sunday's Game against DePaul

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino met with members of the media on Saturday at the Yum! Center to preview Sunday's game against DePaul. The No. 5 ranked Cardinals and Blue Demons will tip off at 4:00 p.m. ET at Freedom Hall in front of a nationally televised audience on ESPNU.
Louisville will return home for the first of two straight games. The Cards lost for just the second time in the last 12 games as the Cardinals fell 90-57 at Notre Dame, U of L's widest margin of defeat in eight years. Earl Clark, the team's leading scorer at 13.0 points per game, poured in 11 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Terrence Williams is averaging a team-high 8.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.
DePaul (8-17, 0-12 BIG EAST) is winless in the BIG EAST. The Blue Demons fell 72-49 to Seton Hall on Feb. 10 in its third straight home game. Dar Tucker scored 19 and Mac Koshwal had 11 points and 16 rebounds in the loss. Tucker leads the Blue Demons in scoring, averaging 18.5 points and 5.1 rebounds, while Koshwal is in the top five in the BIG EAST in rebounding at 10.0 rebounds to go along with 13.5 points.
