- Seniors Edgar Sosa and Jerry Smith became the 62nd players in Louisville history to reach the 1,000-point club in Louisville history. Sosa, who needed just one point to reach the mark, scored 15 points for 1,014 in his career, while Smith has 1,006. Louisville tied North Carolina for the most career 1,000-point scorers.
- Senior Edgar Sosa and sophomore Samardo Samuels each scored in double figures for the sixth straight game this season. Sosa tallied 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor and notched five assists, while Samuels added 15 points and seven rebounds.
- The Cardinals shot better than 50.0 percent from the field for the second time this season and twice in the last three games. The Cardinals connected on a season-high 61.7 percent from the floor in the win over Stetson, while also shooting better than 50.0 percent in Louisville's 80-53 win over Appalachian State when they connected on 53.7 percent from the floor. The 61.7 shooting percentage was the first time the Cardinals shot better than 60.0 percent in game since connecting 60.6 percent in a win over Akron on 12.10/05.
- Senior Jerry Smith scored a season-high 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor in tonight's win over Stetson. Smith's previous high this season was a 14 point performance in the season-opening win over Arkansas on 11/17. His five rebounds were also season-high.
- The Cardinals shot a season-best 50.0 percent from behind the arc tonight, connecting on 7-of-14 from behind the arc.
- Freshman Stephen Van Treese recorded a career-high four points on 2-of-2 shooting from the floor. His previous career-best was two points against East Tennessee State on 11/21/09.
- Senior Chris Brickley recorded a career-high three points on 1-of-1 shooting from the floor, including his first-ever 3-point field goal. His previous career-best was two points against Arkansas on 11/17/09.
- The Cardinals scored 80 or more points for the fourth time in six games this season and are 113-6 in the last 10 seasons, and 83-5 under head coach Rick Pitino.
