LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Steve Kragthorpe met with reporters on Monday afternoon at the Howard Schnellenberger Football Complex to review his three seasons as head coach of the Louisville football team.
On Saturday, Kragthorpe was dismissed as head coach following the completion of his third season in Louisville. He guided the Cardinals to a 15-21 overall record and a 5-16 mark in the BIG EAST Conference. His 2009 squad finished 4-8 overall and 1-6 in the league after a 34-14 loss to Rutgers last Friday at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
