
Anderson Named BIG EAST PLayer of the Week

Louisville, Ky. - University of Louisville running back Victor Anderson (Louisville, Ky.) was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, the BIG EAST announced Monday morning.
Anderson rushed for a career-high 176 yards and three touchdowns in Louisville's 38-29 win over Kasnsas State last Wednesday. The red-shirt freshman from St. Xavier High School recorded his second straight 100-yard performance and currently leads the Cardinals in rushing.
Against Kansas State, Anderson scored on runs of 29, 56 and 27 yards as the Cardinals rushed for 303 yards.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Scott McKillop * Sr. * LB * Pittsburgh * Export, Pa. McKillop had a game-high 10 tackles, including a sack and three tackles for loss, in Pittsburgh's 21-20 win against previously unbeaten Iowa. He registered a key sack on first down that led to a three-and-out with the Hawkeyes threatening in Pitt territory and led a defense that held Iowa to 15 points below its season average. BIG EAST
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dave Brytus * Sr. * P * Pittsburgh * McDonald, Pa. Brytus averaged 47.8 yards on eight punts, including punts of 60 and 57 yards, in Pittsburgh's 21-20 win against Iowa. He hit a perfect 57-yard coffin-corner punt that went out of bounds on the Iowa 1-yard line with 2:28 left to protect the Panthers' one-point lead.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Tony Pike, QB, Cincinnati - Completed 20 of 24 passes for 241 yards and three touchdowns in his first career start to key Cincinnati's 45-20 win against Miami (Ohio).
Donald Brown, RB, Connecticut - Had 34 carries for 150 yards and two touchdowns in Connecticut's 31-28 win against Baylor. Moved into the national lead in rushing yards (179.0 yards per game).
Woodny Turenne, CB, Louisville - Had two interceptions in Louisville's 38-29 win against Kansas State. Patrick Shadle, K, Syracuse - Scored 12 points in Syracuse's 30-21 win against Northeastern. Made field goals from 46, 32 and 21 yards and was 3-for-3 on PATs.
Ellis Lankster, CB, West Virginia - Made 11 tackles with two pass breakups and averaged 21.3 yards on three punt returns in a 17-14 loss at Colorado.
