University of Louisville swimmers Adam Madarassy and Andrei Radzionau are up next at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Both are scheduled to swim Thursday morning.
Adam Madarassy will swim in heat 3 in the 100-butterfly. He qualified for the Hungarian National Team in this event by posting a time of 54.28. The world record was set by Ian Crocker when he went 50.40 in Montreal in 2005.
Madarassy swept both the 100- and 200-fly at the BIG EAST Championship. He was also on the championship 200- and 400-medley relay and the 200 and 400-free relay teams.
Andrei Radzionau, who will swim in heat 9 in the 50-free, set the Belarus National Record of 22.72 to qualify for the Olympics. The world record is held by Eamon Sullivan who posted a time of 21.28. Radzionau was a BIG EAST champion, the BIG EAST Swimmer of the Year and an NCAA participant.
