- Coming off a 9-of-11 three-point performance and scoring 30 points in a win over Syracuse, the Cardinals held Kyle McAlarney to just 1-of-8 from three. McAlarney entered the game hitting 49.1 percent from behind the arc in league games.
- After being held to a season-low one point against Syracuse on 2/18/08, senior David Padgett scored 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting against Pittsburgh on Sunday and responded with a season-high 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting in a win over Notre Dame.
