LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino and senior forward Terrence Williams met with members of the media on Wednesday at the Yum! Center to preview Thursday's game against Ole Miss in the SEC/BIG EAST Invitational and Saturday's contest against Minnesota in the 2008 Stadium Shootout. The Cards and Rebels will tip off at 9:00 p.m. ET at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio on ESPN.
Louisville won its fourth straight with a 94-75 victory over Austin Peay last Sunday as three Cardinals scored 20 or more points. Ole Miss (7-3) has won five of its last seven games, including an 85-81 home victory over Alabama State on Monday.
U of L will travel to Phoenix, Ariz. to play Minnesota (9-0) in the first basketball game to be played in the University of Phoenix Stadium at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20 on Fox Sports.
