
Pitino Previews Saturday's Nationally Televised Game Against Dayton

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino met with members of the media Friday at the Yum! Center to preview Saturday's home game against Dayton. The Cards and Flyers will tip off at 2 p.m. ET at Freedom Hall and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
Pitino will be seeking his 500th career collegiate victory when the Cards and Flyers meet for the second straight year. U of L, which dropped a 68-64 decision to Dayton last year in Cincinnati, enters the game at 5-1 overall following a 47-44 win over Miami (Ohio) last Saturday at Freedom Hall. Earl Clark produced his fifth double-double of the season with 10 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high five blocked shots in the game.
Dayton enters the game at 6-1 overall having won five straight, including a 68-54 victory over High Point on Wednesday. Freshman forward Chris Wright led the way for the Flyers in the win over High Point scoring 16 points and pulling down 13 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.
