
Brohm and Barlowe Earn Academic Honors

LOUISVILLE - - University of Louisville senior quarterback Brian Brohm (Louisville, Ky.) and senior offensive guard Daniel Barlowe (Tallahassee, Fla.) earned selections on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All- District III First Team Thursday. Brohm and Barlowe were a member of the first team and advances to the national ballot for academic All-American accolades.
Brohm has 3.50 GPA while majoring in Finance, , while Barlowe owns a 3.9 in his first semester as a graduate student in exercise science.
The Cardinals' quarterback has been responsible for 27 touchdowns this year, 26 through the air and one on the ground. Brohm has thrown for 3,229 yards, including a career-high 555 against Syracuse on September 22.
Barlowe has started all nine games for the Cardinals at guard. Louisville hosts 6th-ranked West Virginia tonight at 7:46 p.m.
