
Pitino, Williams Preview Saturday's Season-Opener Against Hartford

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino and junior forward Terrence Williams met with members of the media Thursday to preview Saturday's season-opener against Hartford. The Cards and Hawks will tip off at noon ET at Freedom Hall and the game will be television locally by WHAS-TV.
For U of L, it will be the first of five games in eight days to open the season. The Cards won their two exhibition games in Oct., including a 93-66 victory over Georgetown (Ky.) College in their last outing. Hartford beat Sacred Heart 70-55 on Wednesday in its last outing and dropped its first two games, falling to St. Francis 62-59 (Nov. 9) and Quinnipiac 85-79 (Nov. 11) in double overtime.
