
Softball Holds First-Ever Alumni Game

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Several former members of the University of Louisville softball team will reunite for the first Alumni Game in the program's eight year history Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium.
Several members of past Cardinal softball teams will be returning to Ulmer Stadium to face the 2007-08 team. Since 2000, the program's inaugural season, the Cardinals have compiled 414 wins, won three conference titles, made four NCAA tournament appearances and have been ranked among the top 20 in the nation numerous times. In addition, Cardinal softball has produced three conference players of the year, 41 all-conference selections, seven NFCA regional selections and one All-American.
The 2007-08 team has compiled a 6-2-1 record in the fall season and has outscored opponents 48-10. They will close the fall season with the Alumni Game on Oct. 6.
