Freshman Jo-Ann Van Aerde lost her first match but then ran through and won the White Consolation Bracket as the University of Louisville women's tennis team took the court for the first time this fall at the Baylor Fall Invitational in Waco, Texas.
"I think it was a very difficult tournament. Whenever you are playing against top teams in the country in the first tournament of the year, you have to make sure you show up to play," said U of L head coach Greg Davis. "Working on consistency. When January comes around and Vandy is across the net we are ready to play."
