- The Cardinals out-rebounded the Blue Demons, 39-31. It marked just the second time in 13 BIG EAST games that Louisville won the rebounding margin. The Cardinals out-rebounded Notre Dame, 42-37, on 2/4/06.
- Senior Taquan Dean buried two three-point field goals in the second half to become the school's all-time career 3-point field goal leader with 325, breaking the old mark of 323 by DeJuan Wheat (1993-97.
- Junior Brian Johnson made his first career start at center for the Cardinals. He recorded five points and seven rebounds. The seven boards were the most since he recorded eight against on 11/19/05 against Tennessee-Martin.
- Sophomore Terrance Farley recorded a career-high for rebounds in a game with seven. He previously grabbed six in a win over Notre Dame on 2/4/06. Farley also matched his career-best for points in a game with seven. He also totaled seven in win over South Florida on 2/11/06.
- With the announcement of sophomore center David Padgett missing the rest of the season with knee surgery, the combination of Terrance Farley and Brian Johnson recorded 12 points and 14 rebounds.
- Freshman Terrance Williams scored 15 points and hit a career-best 6-of-7 free throws in the win over DePaul. It was his highest output since scoring a career-high 25 in a loss to Pittsburgh on 1/15/06.
- Sophomore Juan Palacios scored 14 points, the most he's scored in the last seven contests.
