
Pitino Previews Saturday's Home Matchup with Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino, junior center David Padgett and sophomore forward Terrence Williams met with members of the media on Friday to preview Saturday's home game against rival Kentucky. The Cards and Cats will meet at 1:30 p.m. ET at Freedom Hall in Louisville and the game will be televised nationally by CBS.
Louisville, which will be playing its fifth straight at home, enters the game at 5-3 overall after a 72-68 loss to Massachusetts on Wednesday night. Williams led the way for the Cards with a season-high 21 points, all in the second half, and seven rebounds.
Kentucky enters Saturday's game at 6-3 overall following a 59-54 win over Indiana last weekend. Randolph Morris led the Cats with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Saturday's game is the seventh of 12 games the Cards play during the month of December. UofL has six non-conference games remaining before opening BIG EAST Conference play on Jan. 3.
