
Swimming and Diving Notch win at Mizzou Extravaganza

The University of Louisville men's and women's swimming and diving teams defeated Drury in the first of four meets in three days at the Mizzou Extravaganza. The men won 107-78 with the women prevailing 118.5-65.5.
U of L had strong performances from Adam Madarassy and Charlton Lawson took the top two spots in the 200-free. Anna Dishuck took the 200-IM with fellow freshman Liz Halet won the 50-free. Andrei Teudean won in the 100-back with Johanna Nyysti won the 100-breast and Chris Lindauer won the men's race in that same event. Melanie Greyling, Dishuck and Kate Wilson made it one, two, three in the 100-free. Freshman Carlos Van Isschot won the men's 100-free.
U of L will take on Southern Illinois on Saturday at 9 a.m. and then Iowa at 5 p.m. that same day. U of L will then face host Missouri at 9 a.m. Sunday for the finale.
