
Knee Surgery for McGee Successful

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville sophomore guard Andre McGee had successful arthroscopic surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee at Jewish Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Dr. John Ellis, a U of L team physician, perform the surgery to repair a torn lateral meniscus, which an MRI Monday had revealed. McGee will be sidelined for 3-6 weeks.
McGee scored 16 points in 23 minutes of action in the Cardinals' 100-87 season-opening victory over Northwestern State. He started against Kentucky Wesleyan and played briefly, producing five points and two steals while every member of the Cardinal team played at least seven minutes.
