
Petrino Previews Saturday's BIG EAST Game at Pittsburgh

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville football head coach Bobby Petrino, senior defensive tackle Amobi Okoye and sophomore center Eric Wood met with members of the media on Monday to preview the Cards' upcoming BIG EAST road game at Pittsburgh. The Cards and Panthers will meet on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Heinz Field and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN.
The Cards enter the game at 9-1 overall and 4-1 in BIG EAST play after a 31-8 home win over USF last Saturday, while the Panthers are 6-5 overall and 2-4 in the conference following their 45-27 loss to West Virginia last Thursday.
Cards Ranked Ninth in the BCS, Eighth, 10th and 11th in the Polls: UofL enters the Pitt game ranked ninth in the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) standings released on Nov. 19. The Cards are ranked eighth in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, 10th in the Harris Interactive Poll, and 11th in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
