LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino met with members of the media on Tuesday to preview the upcoming exhibition opener against Georgetown College. The Cards and Tigers will meet on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET at Freedom Hall and the game will be televised by WHAS-TV.
It is the first time since 1972 that the two teams have met, and this 71st all-time meeting ties it for UofL's fourth most played series. Georgetown (1-0), which beat Asbury 75-55 on Saturday, was picked seventh nationally in a Street & Smith's preseason ranking in the NAIA.
