
Pitino Previews Saturday's BIG EAST Road Game at Providence

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino and freshman guard Andre McGee met with members of the media on Friday to preview the Cardinals' first-ever BIG EAST Conference road game against Providence on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET in Providence, R.I.
The game will be the first time Pitino has coached against Providence, a school he guided to the 1987 NCAA Final Four. No. 8 Louisville (11-2, 0-1) fell 76-67 to No. 3 Villanova on Thursday in the Cards' last outing, while the Friars (7-5, 0-1) lost 72-62 at Georgetown on Thursday in their BIG EAST opener.
