LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino and sophomore forward Juan Palacios met with members of the media on Friday to preview the Cardinals' BIG EAST Conference road game against Rutgers on Saturday in Piscataway, N.J. The game will tip off at 2 p.m. ET at the Rutgers Athletic Center and will be televised nationally by ESPN.
U of L (14-5, 2-4) broke a three-game losing skid by defeating rival Cincinnati 67-50 on Wednesday as the Cards had one of their better defensive efforts. The Scarlet Knights (12-7, 2-4) enter Saturday's game following a 79-69 home loss to Providence on Wednesday.
Rutgers is led by 6-3 junior guard Quincy Douby, the top scorer in the BIG EAST with a 23.0 scoring average.
