LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino and junior guard Brandon Jenkins met with members of the media on Tuesday to preview the Cardinals' BIG EAST Conference home game against Cincinnati on Wednesday at Freedom Hall. The game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
Facing its third straight Top 25, BIG EAST foe at home, Louisville fell to then No. 3 Connecticut 71-58 on Saturday night. The Cards (13-5, 1-4) fought back from a 12-point deficit against the nation's current top-ranked team to take a second half lead, but succombed with a late run by the Huskies.
The Bearcats (14-5, 3-2) enter Wednesday's game following a 71-66 victory over Rutgers Sunday when Devan Downey led UC with 21 points.
