MOBILE, Ala. (Jan. 20) - - Louisville defensive end Elvis Dumervil, who enjoyed one of the greatest defensive seasons in NCAA history in 2005, has been named to the South roster for the 2005 Senior Bowl, officials have announced.
Dumervil led the nation in three major defensive categories during a remarkable senior season with 20 quarterback sacks, 23 tackles for loss and set an NCAA record with ten forced fumbles.

He finished his career ranked second in school history with 32 sacks, and his 11 career forced fumbles is also a school record.
The Senior Bowl is the nation's premier pre-draft showcase, annually featuring the top senior NFL draft prospects on teams coached by the entire coaching staffs of two National Football League teams.
